About the project
ZUŠŠ 65
Primary art schools are generally unlikely to have a high quality visual communication or an innovative approach. The more we appreciate our cooperation with the School of Arts in Šimáček Street in Prague, for which we have designed a promotional newspaper for the 65th anniversary of the school’s founding, and its entire visual identity. We asked the children what they liked about the school. The honesty of their answers got to us – we dedicated the entire cover page to them, and it also serves as a poster. One boy attends this art school because of a beautiful teacher, the other because it is nearby, another says he can sleep there really well.
The entire visual style of the school is very straightforward – the Helvetica font and two basic colors, red and blue. The title ZUŠŠ as the official abbreviation of the school's name is supplemented by the phonetic “fizz” of the last letter ŠŠŠŠ and refers to one of the main subjects taught – to music.
